Heather Richardson is a senior consultant specializing in community outreach programs and special events.  Heather brings seasoned writing and print journalism experience to her role at Ann Green Communications.  She also brings to the client relationship exceptional writing and publications skills, including writing press releases, media advisories, newsletters and website copy for a variety of energy and industrial clients.

Prior to joining Ann Green Communications, Heather was a correspondent for The State Journal, West Virginia’s weekly print publication for statewide business.  She was responsible for covering business, economic, energy and higher education initiatives around the state. She also operated a freelance business, publishing nearly 200 articles in print media outlets throughout West Virginia, in addition to providing professional writing services to businesses in the form of newsletter content, website copy and business plan development.  She also worked for the West Virginia University Entrepreneurship Center in the College of Business and Economics, where she assisted with entrepreneurial communications course instruction and promoting young entrepreneurship through her work with the Statewide Collegiate Business Plan Competition.  

Heather has dual master’s degrees in business administration and public administration from West Virginia University, where she also earned her bachelor’s of science degree in journalism.
